While we're in the mood check out this video from the Californian self proclaimed purveyors of Hula-billy the Hula Girls, which incidentally was shot at Don the Beachcombers! I know that they have been working on some commercials for them so I'm sure this would have been recorded at the same time.
For you Hawaiian music historians the song was written in 1949 by Robert Alex Anderson and recorded by Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters in 1950. If you're already in the mood for a Christmas movie the song is featured in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation!
